Why do you touch my phone when I show you something on it?

If I’m showing you a photo, or anything else, from my phone, why do you grab it and starting swiping? Why touch it at all?

I'd imagine to maybe see it better? Up close? Or finding the sweet spot with their progressive lenses?

But to start swiping, that's just nosy and not-to-be-done.

So, honestly, I've swiped to see other pics- only because the person hands me the phone, stares at me when I'm looking at whatever they're trying to show me but doesn't seem to want their phone back. I assume the pic is one in a series of interesting pictures. If it looks like I'm on a different series of pics I just shut the screen off.

I take ahold of it to look at it more closely. I usually can not see a thing when people just hold it up to me. More often than not, it's at an angle where the light glare makes it impossible to view.

But I never swipe. I just take ahold of it to view the pic they are trying to show me.

But, really, yeah, I'm like the person above me who said they don't like it when people are like, "Hey! Look at this picture!" I'm usually like, "Sigh, really, do I have to?" It's just kind of boring.

My son asks me this all the time. My answer, every time -- I can't see it when you flash the phone in front of my face for a split second. He sends me things directly now, or we have a discussion about how I need to hold the phone myself to see it. LOL. Adults think this way? Man, I must be very offensive to lots of people.
