Suggestions for social skills -related therapy in Bethesda area?

| I am switching pediatricians for my DD as we just moved so can't use that as a source of referrals and am hoping to get some leads from this board. I'd like some sort of therapy or social skills for our 11 yo DD who isn't autistic or ADHD but has some sort of social issues -- emotional regulation and also discomfort around the social scene at her school. I'm thinking some sort of regular therapy but could use suggestions on where to start. |

| I second Alvord Baker. You should contact them ASAP though because their groups run on a semester schedule and you can’t jump in midway. They are likely putting together groups now for the spring groups. I think the spring groups start in February and run until May/June. My DC has found them very useful and llearned a lot of skills. |
