Couple of thoughts I had:
1) Dress warm. It's chilly but when you are outside for 2 hours, it gets cold. 2) Bring snacks. You can get pretty hungry. 3) Consider strollers. Holding your DD/DS can be fun but after a few hours it gets tiring. 4) Bring a pen for the forms (you can fill them out while walking rather than having to sit down at the pen table) 5) Bring an umbrella if raining. 6) Bring a treat (candy or toy) to help your child if they have a real screaming fit after a shot. 7) If you have a spare parent, consider keeping one kid in the car while the other waits in line (if outside and cold / rainy). 8) Jackets are easier to take off than sweaters when it comes time to get the shot in the arm. Any other suggestions? |
