back pain as part of flu symptoms?

I had a lot of the typical symptoms, fever, coughing, body aches, tired, but also my back and joints hurt. Has anyone else had an aching back with the flu?

Yes! My back hurt so much. Tylenol and advil helped.

Yes, i usually know that i'm getting the flu from the pain in my bones and back.

My lower back was so achy I didn't know what to do! I took baths, advil, heating pad, nothing worked. It was really bad for 2 days, got much better after that.

I feel like i'm coming down with the flu and my back hurts as well. A heating pad has helped a lot.
