what jeans are you wearing right now?

I love skinny jeans - but suddenly I am feeling as if they look a little...outdated? Cheesy? Not sure the exact word. Been thinking that I'd like some slightly more substantial jeans, if that makes sense.

Anyway: what jeans are you wearing/liking these days?

I'm having a hard time with this too. They seem to be getting softer and stretchier which is just not what I want. I just ordered a pair of Levi's to see if the material is more jean-like. We'll see. Bonus? They were really affordable!

I’ve always said skinny leg jeans are often unflattering and ill fitting and got completely flamed. I am a baby-boot kinda gal.

Paige higher waisted skinny right now.

I won't leave skinny jeans behind. I like to tuck them in boots or wear them with flats. I strongly dislike the feeling of extra material for boot leg styles.

I'm wearing madewell high rise skinnies these days and you can pry them from my cold dead hands. Length is important-- if they bunch up at your ankle you look very 2000s I think.

Straight legs are back too, OP.

I love skinnies because they look the best with the current shoe trends. I have a "barely boot" cut pair that I rarely wear because it's so hard to find shoes that don't look awful with them.

I was feeling like you about skinny jeans OP, but then the other week Everlane was having a denim sale so I decided to try them out. I got two pairs and I am completely in love with their "Authentic Stretch Mid-Rise Skinny Jean." They're not skin tight so I like how they look and feel more than my previous skinnies. I also got their "Mid-Rise Skinny Jean" which doesn't have stretch but fits similarly. I haven't worn those out yet.

I do also like boyfriend style, but tend to wear that cut more in the spring and summer.

Most of my jeans are skinny jeans, although I have one boot cut pair.

Full disclosure, right now I'm wearing maternity jeans even though I'm 2 years postpartum because they're damn comfortable.

sorrynotsorry

Uniqlo high rise dark slim straight. The rise isn't super high, but it's high when you're used to the low and mid-rises that have been around for years. Stretchy, nice enough for work, super affordable.

Honestly I am wearing high rise skinny jeans and jeggings from Old Navy and I am happy about it.
37, 3 kids.

I used to wear jeans like Seven, Citizens, etc. but after having kids I started getting holes in the knees I guess from bending down so much with the kids, so I switched to cheaper jeans so I don't care as much when I get holes. I am seriously happy with Old Navy jeans. They are cheap so you can try other fits to see if you like them, and if not, it's not a huge deal.

Right now I am wearing AG high rise cigarette leg jeans. My favorites are Joes high rise skinny ankle jeans. They aren't that skinny so look normal. I have only recently started wearing fancy brand jeans because of the return of high rises - the mid rise stuff looks terrible on me and just wasn't comfortable.

This is OP - and I've been eyeing the Everlane jeans, actually. I've become a big big fan of Everlane clothes these last couple of years. Glad to hear you like yours! The reviews on the website are good, too.

Gap Girlfriend--not skin tight, but not bootcut

The same ones I've had for the last three years. I got them at Macy's. Forgot the brand, but they're straight leg.

Skinny jeans forever. Jeans that are trendy right now - flared, wide leg etc only look good on supermodels.
