hiccups all night long?

Hi, I've left a message for my OB, but it can take the office several hours to call back, so in the meantime... I'm 23 weeks and last night felt what I can only guess are fetal hiccups for the first time. This was cute for the first ten minutes, but they went on frequently for 70 minutes straight, then subsided a bit, then came back every few hours for the rest of the night. They only stopped this morning after I dragged myself out of bed so that I wasn't lying down anymore.

Has anyone experienced this? How do you help a baby in utero stop having hiccups? (and should i maybe not have had those wasabi green beans for dinner?!)

thank you!

Good god yes. My daughter had hiccups at least 4-5 times a day for about 4 months and they sometimes lasted hours (she is now one and still VERY prone to hiccups). I don't think there is anything you can do to help them when the baby is in utero. They don't hurt or bother them at all.
