| How are the Madlax girls? How do other teams view theM? How is coaching? Team bonding? Etc? |
| I can't speak to the coaching or bonding, but I have seen the 2023 team play. I would say that they are not yet competitive as a B team, but the team is only a year old. |
| Good coaches but I would stay away if your daughter is a strong player as she’s bound to become frustrated with peer play. If she’s just in grade school and/or looking for a low stress team then I think it’s an option though. |
| Better than Stars/Capital |
Madlax Girls is actually the best club in the universe |
| I wonder if Madlax has to deal with alcoholic, bitchy GV parents all the time |
| They pay for terrible lacrosse and give their money to a psycho, so anything is possible. |
| Madlax is one of the best boys clubs in the country, and their recruiting record speaks for itself. It will take awhile for the girls to catch up. |
+1. We have our eye on it. Hoping it does well. Time shall tell. |
| It's owned by the biggest scumbag in lacrosse |
| True, but I heard the club director on the girls side is awesome. The girls don’t even see Cabell. |
| But by allowing your DD to play for Madlax you are implicitly putting your seal of approval on Cabell. That is just not acceptable to many people |
The owner told a former family that he would try to ruin their son's chances to play in college and threatened for his former teammats to hurt their son on the field. By giving him your money, you are condoning that kind of behavior. Is that the morals you want to be teaching your daughter? So if a club is owned by, say, David Duke, it's ok as long as she's not coached him? |
