| I am considering switching to a United HMO that covers $30,000 in fertility treatments and meds with a $3,500 annual out of pocket limit. It's simpler than plans that cover more cycles, but exclude IVF from the out of pocket limit and don't have med coverage (looking at you, Aetna). My RE's office said they have a reputation for denying coverage of covered claims, but I didn't press her on specifics. Does anyone have recent experience with using United for IVF? How is the fertility pre-authorization process, speciality pharmacy for meds, and general claim processing? |
