Breaking into the tech sector with a liberal arts and project management background?

Are there any jobs in the tech sector for my background?

Absolutely! You will find that in many tech companies people from all kinds of educational background work there. I have a liberal arts background myself and work in tech.

In the interview I would emphasize the project management part - getting things 'done' is a huge asset, no exception in tech

What kind of roles/job titles should I be looking for?

Without knowing much about your other qualifications, skills etc - you'll find that Project Manager (PM) roles are abundant at the large tech contractors (Accenture, Deloitte, Booz etc).

You described my background for my first job in tech. Yes, there are plenty, but you have to find people who like non-traditional backgrounds. Those are normally local shops, mid-size. The giant corps aren't likely to take the gamble.

Get your PMP certification and emphasize your writing skills. IT people are pretty bad at both (I'm in the field, I know)
