Looking for a fun indoor activity for your child this Winter?! District Irish Dance Academy is excited to announce our Winter Session of Intro to Irish Dance for Kids! In this 6-week series, dancers will jump, kick, step and slide while learning the fundamentals (focus on the "fun"!) of Irish dance, musicality, rhythm, technique and more! The final class will present a showcase for families. A great way to get a taste of the exciting world of Irish dance!
WHO: Kids age 5 & up WHAT: Intro to Irish dance - Winter Session - for Kids! Hosted by District Irish Dance Academy (led by a former Riverdance cast member) WHERE: Fuse Pilates Foxhall Square (3301 New Mexico Ave NW) WHEN: Saturdays, 11-11:30am, 1/19-2/23 (6 weeks total) COST/REGISTRATION: $125 (sign up at: https://classbug.com/businesses/1730/events/581670) OTHER DETAILS: Open to brand new dancers. No dance shoes needed. Socks/barefoot are sufficient. Students must wear athletic apparel (no jeans or restrictive clothing). Please be on time. Make-ups only granted in specific circumstances.
