Why is the media not covering ICE resistance in LA?

Dems, you're really going to die on this hill to defend mass illegal immigration even when the country overwhelmingly voted against it? The crap going on in LA just proves how much Trump is right about this being an invasion. They're waving foreign flags on OUR SOIL. Absolutely outrageous this is allowed, tolerated, and condoned by the Democrats. It shows everyone who the Dems really are.

Looks like a third world violent Central American ghetto over there in LA.

Keep the coverage coming.

Guess this is what no-visas, uneducated, violent, cash pay black market unemployed illegals will do.

Destroy everything on their way out. Prove they were only here for money under the table to remit or to deal drugs.

Fwiw, looting undermines the cause. Always.

Pro-illegal immigration and Black market:
-Arson
-Looting
-vandalism
-physical bodily harm to others
-threatening & violent
-masks, guns, and Hispanic flags
-underlying gang wars
-democrats, Kamala missing the point
-Mexican president also encouraging illegal immigration and current violent behavior.

WOW, things really devolved rapidly over there.

Scary to see everyone’s true colors come out.

Now to really GTFO.

This.
It is important to remember that Trump is a reality tv host. Of all his ventures, it was the one he enjoyed the most. He wants to be a star. During his campaigns and presidency, he has repeatedly mentioned tv ratings. We all know that “reality” tv does not actually show reality at all. It is entertainment. We need to keep this in mind when viewing photos and videos of LA.

California also has the largest illegal alien population of any state in our country. ICE needs to stay there for a while and increase their deportation efforts.

Fine, then they should do it by identifying the criminals and going after them, not hanging out at schools and Home Depot.

It IS criminal to illegally cross a sovereign border or to overstay your tourist visa.

That’s illegal and you are to be deported. 100s of other dev’d world countries do the same.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Right—CHIRLA—is one of the key players in fomenting the violent response to immigration enforcement actions. It’s an LA-based nonprofit with a history of taking radical positions on immigration; for example, it led a 2018 campaign to abolish ICE. It currently leads the Los Angeles Rapid Response Network, which gathers intel about enforcement actions and deploys activists to respond.

CHIRLA has strong ties to the Democrat Party in California and has supported the election of Democratic candidates through its lobbying arm. It has a particularly close relationship with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, former #2 at CHIRLA. The organization also has a close relationship with organized labor in the state, which in turn is a major financial supporter of Democrat politicians. On Friday, amid rising tensions, CHIRLA held a rally protesting ICE’s enforcement actions and the arrest of SEIU President David Huerta for obstruction.

The incredible part is that CHIRLA’s activities are primarily funded by California taxpayers. I obtained a financial audit that shows that for the fiscal year ending June 2023, it received $34 million from the state, mostly through the Department of Social Services, accounting for 72% of its total revenue. This was nearly a three-fold increase over the previous year.

CHIRLA also received a $450,000 federal contract in 2023, which Mayor Bass publicly took credit for helping secure. DHS froze funding in February, which prompted a lawsuit from CHIRLA. DHA then canceled the contract, and the lawsuit was then dismissed.

Eisenhower warned of the military-industrial complex—now we face a nonprofit-industrial complex.

True.

The pro-illegal immigration activists and vandals are well-funded. By NGOs, by Democrats, by cartels, by Hispanic gangs, by chain migration coyote gangs.

Great.

Let Newsom, Kamala, and mayor Bass further memorialize how idiotic they are on illegal immigration.

Blast those letters and news they keep preaching with their eyes & ears shut.

If I were living illegally in Beijing or Tokyo or Paris or London, the last thing I would do would be to set cars on fire and assault police officers while waving a giant American flag. I mean what is the thinking here? Do these protesters not realize they are making a very compelling argument for their immediate arrest and expulsion? After watching these riots, I can guarantee that Trump's popularity is getting a big boost this week. I'm not sure why progressives are encouraging this violence. Americans are pretty clear they want an end to illegal immigration. This would be unacceptable in every country on Earth.

You do realize that many American citizens of Mexican descent have lived in California for 6+ generations and were originally Mexican citizens? Their families were in California when it was still Mexico. Their families have a long of history of going back & forth across the "border" for commerce, work, and familial ties for 150+ years.

Trump is being proven correct by the actions of the “protesters” in LA.

Democrats have the special power of not being able to correctly interpret events.

They see illegal immigrants waving the Mexican flag as they burn cars, throw rocks at ICE agents, and loot stores as a plus.

Regular American citizens are horrified.

Where’s the chart on how many annual BILLiONS of USD are remitted tax free to each of the Central American countries and to Mexico.

It’s half of their annual GDP.

It’s vastly black market, untaxed cash pay monies.

No wonder those countries don’t want to stop the illegal immigration $$$$$ gravy train.

Let me make sure I understand this:

Federal law enforcement enforces immigration laws
Citizens interfere with arrests and block access to federal building
Federal forces called in to protect building
National guard mobilized to help protect said building(s)
People start burning cars and destroying property because not able to…destroy federal buildings? Release people detained?
Trumps fault

Makes sense

sooner or later the message will get out.

If you come to the US illegally, you will be caught and deported.

If you are in the US illegally, you will be caught and deported.

simple as that.

I think the message IS out. For illegal and legal migrants—and foreign visitors in general. The whole world can read the sign: FOREIGNERS ARE NOT WELCOME.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SHOULD FOLLOW US IMMIGRATION LAW.

People from other countries who follow American law are welcome.

Americans who go abroad should follow the law in the country they visit.

If Americans do not follow the law in a country they visit, they can and will be arrested.

You are a democrat who doesn’t want immigration law adhered to, and will paint the conversation with hysterics and propaganda and lies.

Apparently, the Wall Street Journal editorial board in today’s WSJ agrees that the current administration may be taking things too far. Big business does not like civil unrest.

The Deportation Wars Begin
Trump has a mandate, but protests in California show the trouble that might lie ahead.

“But the White House, led by deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, wants to deport everyone here illegally. This means millions of people who arrived illegally but have since led law-abiding, productive lives. They have formed families and taken jobs that employers say they struggle to fill—in construction, hospitality, agriculture, healthcare, and much more.

Mr. Miller and the restrictionists want to deport everyone to send a message never to come again. But the lost contributions to the U.S. labor force will be great, especially since neither Mr. Miller nor Big Labor will tolerate more legal immigration. The labor-market impact is already showing up in the monthly Bureau of Labor Statistics report.

There is also the risk of unrest, as we’ve seen in California. It’s fanciful to think that raiding restaurants to snatch busboys, or Home Depot to grab stock clerks, won’t inspire a backlash. All the more so when ICE acts in heavy-handed fashion, as its agents sometimes do. Some on the pro-migrant left will do the same, and that’s when things get ugly. The political risks for Mr. Trump will grow if families are broken up, legal migrants are deported by mistake, or tales of hardship proliferate.”

Enforce immigration law. Period.

Democrats think it does.

Newsom will explain it all perfectly during the upcoming presidential debates. He’s a studied and well known liar. His sleazy persona will finally have a chance to shine on the national stage.
