Great place for relaxing, upscale lunch in NOVA?

Anonymous
My mom just offered to babysit all day tomorrow and DH and I want to go out to a nice lunch. I am 36 weeks pregnant so this may be the last quiet, relaxing meal we have in a while.

We'd rather not venture into DC, and live in Falls Church. Any ideas?

L'Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls would be a great spot -- and a beautiful drive to get there. You could also have a nice lunch at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner or Pentagon City followed by shopping if you feel like walking around (though maybe not). Best of luck in a few weeks with your new little one!!!

If you don't mind driving to Reston, my husband and I have fallen in love with Passionfish.

We also like Bazin's in Vienna, but it may be a little boisterous.

Eventide in Arlington is good, although I am not sure it is open for lunch.
My husband and I also like Restaurant Vero on Lee Highway.
Also, La Cote D'Or on the Falls Church/Arlington line is good, too.

My thoughts would be J Gilberts, Chef Geoff's, Wildfire, Flemings, Panache or Inox.

2941 in Falls Church is fantastic and beautiful. They also have a fall dining deal: Weekday Lunch Special - $23.95
Three-course prix fixe lunch menu served Monday through Friday from 11:30am – 2:00pm.

Thanks for all the great recommendations. Our top choices were Passionfish and 2941, but unfortunately neither was open for lunch on Saturdays. So we went to Present, a Vietnamese place that was amazing in Falls Church. The food was great and they were very pampering to my very pregnant self!
