Cost of IVIg and neupogen treatment?

Anonymous
I've been diagnosed with immune issues and one of the treatments I will do for a FET is IVIg and neupogen. I'm seeing a hematologist for the IVIg and neupogen. He's not sure if they will be covered by insurance. Was anybody able to get it covered through insurance? If not, how much did you pay out of pocket?

I just went through this, and neither was covered by my insurance (BCBS). Neupogen was roughly $1,000 per bottle, but the dose, which is based on your weight (I'm around 125lbs), is tiny. Mine was .06 ML, so the bottle lasted about 28ish days. I went through three bottles before stopping it around 16 weeks. I didn't shop around for prices, so you might be able to get it cheaper. IVIg dose is also based on your weight. Each treatment through my hematologist's office was roughly 3,600.

Thanks for the info. I have BCBS, so... I'm going to guess they won't cover it. Ugh, as if the price of IVF wasn't enough.
