Flu Shot while on Antibiotics

Can a baby get a flu shot while on antibiotics for an ear infection? I tend to not want to vaccinate DC but we made an appt for the seasonal flu (pediatrician ran out & DC is now 6 months), but he just got an ear infection. I've asked our pediatrician and they say yes, there's no problem. I'm just wondering if anyone else has been here.

You have a boy--yes? There is no way I would do that-if he is on antibiotics, he is fighting something. Wait until he is in tip top shape and then get the flu shot. I have a boy and a girl and I don't care how much people say that there is no problems with vac. Something is making these kids have autism and I didn't want to chance so I made sure I spaced out vac and only gave a vac when they were well. Since autism is larger in the male pop, I would defintely wait. FYI-I have several doctors in my family and they are stumped by autism, they just don't know-they space out vac for their own family and only vac when their kids are well.

My dd was on her last two days of antibiotics and she got the h1n1 shot. They said it wasn't a problem at all.
