I work four days each week and my monthly gross is $6000.00 or $72,000.00 per year. If I worked five days a week what would be my salary? Is it $90,000? |
| 90k. Lol middle school drop out? |
| Someone needs help with their math homework. |
| Don’t judge because I can’t count! What’s the formula? |
72,000 x 5 / 4 |
If you worked 6 days, you would make a lot more!!
|
| Your jokes are as bad as OP’s math. |
| Yes, $90,000 is right. |
|
72,000
If you are a salaried employee working more days won’t change anything. |
| It would depend entirely on your pay structure. Are you salaried? Are you paid an hourly wage? A daily wage? |
What’s with the ‘youtube’ brackets at top of your post? Was there an accompanying video to help us understand the question?
|
| Hopefully you’re not an accountant! |
That formula doesn't make sense to me (even though it's right). OP I would have done $72,000 divided by 4 times 5. |
You do realize that mathematically that's the exact same thing, right? Would it help you understand the pp's formula if you put parenthesis around the 5/4 (also mathematically the exact same thing): 72,000*(5/4) Where 5/4 is the scaling ratio for the current annual gross income? |

You make 1500 per month for each day you currently work:
6000/4 = 1500. So working another day for a year would add: 1500 x 12 = 18,000 to your salary. 72,000 + 18,000 = 90000. |
