My question is under what circumstances can a divorce settlement be changed after a judge has signed off on it. Is there wording in the agreement that can forestall this from happening? FYI I want to ensure that final means final. |
| Of course esp if new info comes to light (like he was hiding assets or has been arrested etc.) |
| Yes, certain things like custody can always be revisited if there is a material change in circumstances. |
| Custody always, child support and alimony in changed circumstances and if the disclosures were not accurate regarding finances |
| "changed circumstances" |
| Good to know. |
| nothing is absolute final except death |
|
And even that isn’t final if you believe in life after death.
So you may as well live right, do it right the first time. |
