Curious, the school had turf staged on site and was supposed to be in place before school and then it vanished?
Honestly, kinda happy b/c turf may end up being bad for kids, so no rush. But what happened to it??? |
| The county had an issue with it. They had to figure out drainage or something. |
| I think they sent an email saying it was going to be installed later this month? |
| why don't you ask your school? |
| They don't want to put it in now since they need 4 trailers to cover the blacktop for Arlington Spanish Focus School. Can't move trailers over the Turf infrastructure, since it will destryo the drainage. That's either what I heard or what I am making up. 50/50 |
Everything related to ASFS is the best! |
I'm betting you are spot on! |
They say the turf is at the school but the County (which approved said turf) won't approve the installation permits. Hmmmmm . . . . really??? They are probably looking to return and get a refund for the turf so they have extra cash to move the science lab!

| It causes cancer. But the kids should be older by then. Hate that school |
To? |
No surprises there. With any good modern field done right, drainage is the expensive part (then you can cover it with dirt and grass or fancy plastic - it won't much matter). The county underspends on those fundamentals. |
