ASFS Turf Field

Curious, the school had turf staged on site and was supposed to be in place before school and then it vanished?

Honestly, kinda happy b/c turf may end up being bad for kids, so no rush. But what happened to it???

The county had an issue with it. They had to figure out drainage or something.

I think they sent an email saying it was going to be installed later this month?

why don't you ask your school?

They don't want to put it in now since they need 4 trailers to cover the blacktop for Arlington Spanish Focus School. Can't move trailers over the Turf infrastructure, since it will destryo the drainage. That's either what I heard or what I am making up. 50/50

They say the turf is at the school but the County (which approved said turf) won't approve the installation permits. Hmmmmm . . . . really??? They are probably looking to return and get a refund for the turf so they have extra cash to move the science lab!

It causes cancer. But the kids should be older by then. Hate that school

No surprises there. With any good modern field done right, drainage is the expensive part (then you can cover it with dirt and grass or fancy plastic - it won't much matter).

The county underspends on those fundamentals.
