Local fingerprinting for DCPS volunteers, 11/6 at Takoma EC

The Whittier and Takoma PTA/PTOs have teamed up to bring DCPS's mobile fingerprinting unit to upper Ward 4 next week. If you want to volunteer in a DCPS (even to chaperone a field trip), you need to complete the clearance process: online background check, negative TB test, and fingerprinting.

Rather than go to DCPS offices in NoMa, you can come to Takoma EC between noon and 3pm on November 6 to get fingerprinted. There's no school for Election Day and Parent-Teacher Conferences.

You need to have the TB test complete by 11/1, which basically means you need to get to a clinic by tomorrow (Tuesday). (Good time to get a flu shot too.) You don't have to be a Takoma or Whittier family to participate--we just need 25 people motivated to volunteer in DCPS.
