I paid for my H graduate school because my salary could cover the cost, his could not.

I paid off my now ex's college loans. When we got married and joined finances I had the money to do it and didn't want to pay the interest. I also paid off his car loan and bought the family home with my down payment. Lucky him.

Yes. My DH continued to pay my loans for me once I became a SAHM. He is a keeper, for many reasons.
