DH is life-long Honda devotee. He is in love with Honda CRV.
I am not good with big, bulky cars as I have problems parking and dent cars in small spaces. We only need one vehicle. Can someone recommend an SUV/sedan hybrid that would make DH happy but allow me to park easily? |
| The CRV fits those requirements! |
| The smaller Honda HRV |
| See if it has the "helicopter view" parking camera that shows a view of the vehicle from overhead. Makes it so much easier to park in tight spaces. |
|
The CRV has the multi-angle rearview camera. It's perfect for parking.

| Driving school for you, OP? |
+1, because a CR-V is pretty much the exact opposite of "big and bulky". |
I grew up in Europe with small cars. I can drive well. I am just uneasy with parking big cars. Yes, for a continental European person, Honda CRV is bulky. But I take comfort in its excellent technology, which would warn me on time. |
If a crv is bulky why not get a Honda Fit? |
We were at Bethesda dealership today and asked for it. They told us that they are all sold out and not to try anywhere in MD because we are not going to find it. Apparently the assembly factory in Mexico was destroyed by the hurricane and their production is almost non-existent. |
With this being the dmv you could also try Virginia. And they could have it delivered from another state if that’s what you want. Dealerships do it all the time. Also, look at VW bug or Jetta. Those are small. The Jetta would also give you some actual space for passengers/car seats. But, the crv is really not bulky at all. I found it very easy to drive and good line of sight. |
Ourisman Honda in Bethesda has 4 Honda Fits according to their website: https://www.ourismanhonda.com/searchnew.aspx?Type=N&Make=Honda&Model=Fit |
Not according to their sales person. |
Did you ask about the four on the website? Walk the lot? |
