Daycare is group care. PP is right - two is a terrible age to move a toddler into daycare. You should do it before 18 months or after 36 months.

OP ignore this. Lots of kids start daycare at 2. Mine did after a nanny share and was fine after 1 day. It is a common age to move to a group setting and I am sure two year old teachers are adept at transitioning kids. I know nothing about the center though.

I read the same as the first PP - it is not the best time to start daycare. Just google it, OP, and see what comes up.

OP Ignore this. Two is not the best age to start daycare especially at a large daycare center where you child will be with 12 to15 other kids. If you have to go the daycare route, I’d look at inhome daycares for a two year old.

Much more likely to die at one of those due to rules not being followed or someone’s boyfriend getting out of prison and coming for a visit.
Acday care associated with the IMF is going to be 1000 times better and hard to get a spot I’m sure.

They have a very good reputation. You can ask them if you can speak with some of the parents of their current children.

It’s beeb more than 10 years but we also moved our first DC to the IMF daycare from a nanny when she was two. The staff were great with her transition. This was when it was only in the HQ1 building.

OP suggest you get in touch with IMF staff with kids there, this board not so helpful. lots of staff have their kids there and it works really well (we opted for a nanny so can't tell you first hand). I love seeing those kids around the office sometimes, esp on Halloween
