So grand

The rest of the royal family members all dashing in sashes and dripping in diamonds

|
And that how you do royal!
Also amused you took pictures of your screen |
| What a striking look! |
She's a very fashion forward and modern Queen. That ballgown and those fabrics are to die for. I don't think I've ever seen a british royal wearing ombre let alone ombre with swarvoski crystals set in it. This is what a fierce woman wears and how they show up. |
I was rooting for her but showing up looking like she just got voted Prom Queen is not the look for Kate. I can't believe that dress is actually Alexander McQueen.
|
| Frozen dress. Just in time for Halloween. |
| I love Maxima’s wardrobe. Even her name is freaking awesome. She makes Meghan look basic imho. |
LOL Maxima is the Queen of the Netherlands. I don't know why you'd compare her and Meghan when they've never been in the same room. But I think their styles could actually be complimentary. Maxima, Letizia, and Rania are by far my favorite leading Royal ladies. |
| Wow, that tiara is really something! It’s probably not often (ever?) that QE’s tiara is only second-best. |
| Yeesh, Kate. That’s the best you can do with the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara and Queen Alexandra’s wedding parure? |
| This is what Kate and Meghan BOTH don't have IMO...royal-ness. I know Diana had a trashy side but damn did she look good in a gown and a tiara. There are some really famous photographs (that Im sure we have all seen) of her and damn she looks regal! Maxima is amazing too! |
In this picture Diana is wearing the same tiera and Kate just makes it look so basic. Definitely agree Diana has more presence and regalness. |
That's the famous Stuart tiara that hasn't been seen in years. The Lover's Knot tiara that Kate wears (and Diana wore regularly) is apparently the Queen Mary Lover's Knot. It's often mistakenly called the Cambridge Lover's Knot, on which Queen Mary's was modeled: http://www.thecourtjeweller.com/2017/07/lovers-knot-tiaras-cambridge-vs-queen.html |
