| Question: her legs look amazing in those shorts and boots. She's not stuck thin-- do you think she's wearing some kind of hosiery to help her legs look smooth? My legs will look like that in nude fishnets (totally erased any dimpling and evens out the color) but you can tell I'm wearing fishnets. Wondering if there's some other options that has the same effect but looks more natural. |
| ^stick thin |
Probably not. She looks great and had good skin. Maybe that Sally Hansen leg make up?? I don’t think she looks cringe at all, pp. she is a mega rich pop star. I love that she dresses in whatever she feels like and rocks it. I’m not a huge fan but I love a woman that doesn’t feel the need to be like everyone else just because it’s what society says she should do or be like. She’s 35, oh the horror! She’s out in a denim bustier! Why isn’t she wearing Target t shirt and jeans like me!!! Ahhhh |
Her fame, success and money does not dispute she’s a childless and never married middle aged woman. |
"Spinster"??? At 34? You've got to be a troll at this point.
|
Sorry, hon. 34 is not middle-aged. Now, YOU otoh - you are definitely middle aged and bitter. I'm 56 - absolutely middle aged - and I celebrate someone as young, vibrant, and smart as Taylor Swift. SO glad she doesn't have any baby daddies or faux years-long "engagements." |
Go find a real god or goddess to worship. Celebrity worship has stopped being cool. Chapelle Roan is killing it. |
Absolutely that was part of the point. Watch the video- she gets quite literally too big to fit into the normal suburban house/ dinner table and then talks about her kids fighting over her money when she dies. She is fighting her fame in that song and realizing fame takes away the ability to have a typical life. She is mourning that in this song. |
| She looked like a hooker in that denim outfit and boots. No class. |
Please stop demeaning women and their choices. I think she looked great. But if I didn’t, I wouldn’t call her a hooker just to further shame women for owning their sexuality. |

This thread is really sad.
Some of you to need to seriously reevaluate. Tearing down a woman for daring to come out in public past the age of 24. Demeaning someone for not having kids on the same timeline you did. Such vile hatred because someone took a different path than you. It reeks of bitterness and it’s truly pathetic. |
Well said! |
+1 And still the only litmus test for women is marriage and kids. You can literally be the most famous woman on the planet and still be “unsuccessful” because you aren’t married with children. It’s so over the top misogynistic it’s hard to imagine anyone actually thinking it no less taking the time to type it out for all to see. When has a man ever been told he’s unsuccessful because he’s not married with children? Is there even a male word for spinster??? I hate this society sometimes. |
| I tuned into some show last night because I heard Taylor might be there. I was not disappointed. |
I love when middle class women talk about class. |
