Travis and Taylor

Question: her legs look amazing in those shorts and boots. She's not stuck thin-- do you think she's wearing some kind of hosiery to help her legs look smooth? My legs will look like that in nude fishnets (totally erased any dimpling and evens out the color) but you can tell I'm wearing fishnets. Wondering if there's some other options that has the same effect but looks more natural.

Probably not. She looks great and had good skin. Maybe that Sally Hansen leg make up??

I don’t think she looks cringe at all, pp. she is a mega rich pop star. I love that she dresses in whatever she feels like and rocks it. I’m not a huge fan but I love a woman that doesn’t feel the need to be like everyone else just because it’s what society says she should do or be like. She’s 35, oh the horror! She’s out in a denim bustier! Why isn’t she wearing Target t shirt and jeans like me!!! Ahhhh

+1. Middle aged “cool mom”…without the kids. She looks sad.

Is that you, college jeans mom? Taylor Swift is 35 years old. She's in the prime of her life and looks it, too. It's entertaining how triggered this makes you.

She’s a 35 year old spinster acting like a teenager. It’s cringe and sad. Sorry!

Hey JD, get off DCUM and go be weird for the MAGA crowd.

I can barely name a TS song but you can't seriously be lobbing the absurd insult of "spinster" at one of the world's most successful entertainers?

Her fame, success and money does not dispute she’s a childless and never married middle aged woman.

"Spinster"??? At 34? You've got to be a troll at this point.

Sorry, hon. 34 is not middle-aged. Now, YOU otoh - you are definitely middle aged and bitter. I'm 56 - absolutely middle aged - and I celebrate someone as young, vibrant, and smart as Taylor Swift. SO glad she doesn't have any baby daddies or faux years-long "engagements."

Right??? It's so bizarre to essentially watch a Hallmark movie unfold before our eyes and feel hatred.

Your standard of a well lived life is a Hallmark movie? That is what you strive for in life? A hallmark movie.

Isn’t Taylor kind of old to be a “young woman?”

She is quite old. I am always thankful I met my spouse in my very very early 20s, had all the children I wanted by 30, and now in my 40s am almost an empty nester that still fits into my college jeans. She's going about life the hard way.

This actually made me laugh. You're comparing yourself to... Taylor Swift... and claiming this talented, beautiful, young, smart, funny woman is "going about life the hard way"? Meanwhile, you're congratulating yourself on marrying early and being a 40 yr. old who can still wear her college jeans? OMG, this has got to be the best, most utterly hilarious post on the forum.

Go find a real god or goddess to worship. Celebrity worship has stopped being cool. Chapelle Roan is killing it.

lol

She doesn’t want to be some anonymous mom in suburbia.

Sure she does, that is why she wrote anti-hero. She is longing to be white suburban mom, but knows her kids will just end up fighting for money.

NP. That’s what you think Antihero is about?

Absolutely that was part of the point. Watch the video- she gets quite literally too big to fit into the normal suburban house/ dinner table and then talks about her kids fighting over her money when she dies.

She is fighting her fame in that song and realizing fame takes away the ability to have a typical life. She is mourning that in this song.

She looked like a hooker in that denim outfit and boots. No class.

Please stop demeaning women and their choices. I think she looked great. But if I didn’t, I wouldn’t call her a hooker just to further shame women for owning their sexuality.

This thread is really sad.

Some of you to need to seriously reevaluate. Tearing down a woman for daring to come out in public past the age of 24. Demeaning someone for not having kids on the same timeline you did.

Such vile hatred because someone took a different path than you. It reeks of bitterness and it’s truly pathetic.

And still the only litmus test for women is marriage and kids. You can literally be the most famous woman on the planet and still be “unsuccessful” because you aren’t married with children. It’s so over the top misogynistic it’s hard to imagine anyone actually thinking it no less taking the time to type it out for all to see. When has a man ever been told he’s unsuccessful because he’s not married with children? Is there even a male word for spinster??? I hate this society sometimes.

I tuned into some show last night because I heard Taylor might be there. I was not disappointed.

I love when middle class women talk about class.
