We are travelling internationally in the next three weeks. Got the first shot for my daughter but worried about getting sick myself and not being near a hospital.....seems like it is likely I am out of luck. If you've heard of anywhere that has it, I'd love to know.
Thanks! |

I think you can get it at the walk-in vaccine clinic in Chevery, Md, close to Capitol Hill. Priority groups can make appointments so they don't have to stand in line but non-priority people have to stand in line. Call first to check.
PC County Health Department Immunization Clinic @ Cheverly Health Center, 3003 Hospital Dr., Cheverly, MD 301.583.3300 1.888.561.4049 -- to make an appointment. |
Are you sure they will give it to non priority people? On-line says on CDC priority groups. |
| Thanks, I actually called there and they said it is only for county residents. |
| Try calling your general doctor. I called our today just to make an appt for seasonal flu shots and asked when they would get H1N1 vaccines. To my surprise they already had H1N1 and will make appointements with all current patients for the shot. |
| wow, mine said they are not expecting them until late november. wonder why it's so different....how are these distributed? |
| Op here. Thanks. I actually spoke with my DR and she said they don't have it and don't know when they will get it. They had a small shipment and it was literally only enough to cover the staff. I called my OB clinic, they are out.... I wish I knew the rhyme or reason to how these things are distributed to various locations. |
