Other than the county clinics, where can kids get vaccinated?

Our pediatrician is out of H1N1 vaccine. I'm on a wait list at our secondary ped's office. Do I have any chance of getting vaccines for my kids at a doctor's office where we are not already existing patients? Where do you find a list of doctors with a good supply of h1n1 vaccine? Would that be peds, OBs, FP?

I think your best bet now would be the DOH clinics. Our ped does not have the vaccine either and we are on a waiting list. But so many kids are getting sick I do not want to wait.

pediatricians and other doctors seem to be getting small amount sporadically. my son's pediatrician had a small amount of vaccines and they were gone in a day. cvs minute clinics will also be getting them. but unless you're lucky enough to have a doctor with a supply you may need to go to one of these clinics.

Why are some people's pediatricians getting LARGE amounts and others none at all? Should I be mad at my pediatrician? Is it her fault? If its not her fault, it seems REALLY unfair that those "lucky" few can make an appointment at their ped and I have to stand in line for hours at a public health clinic!

The lines at the DC clinics were not long at all. Well under an hour if you went mid morning or late in the day. I often wait longer than that in my docs office.

Try family practice - - peds are running out faster b/c they are more commonly associated with kids. People call peds or OB and forget family practice. Mine had it. G/L.
