Anyone else on flu info overload?

I know this is the flu forum, but you're on it, so I thought I'd ask: anyone else on flu info overload? I feel almost compelled to read it all the time and look at new CDC stuff, etc., but then I feel like it makes me anxious, but then I am MORE anxious when I don't. Am I totally loco or is anyone else getting burned out with the worrying?

Yes. My DH won't let me give him "updates" anymore. If I say, "hey, this is interesting, listen to this..." he'll say, "only if it doesn't relate to H1N1."

I think I'm a pretty reasonable, non-hysteria prone person and I'm getting buggy (no pun intended) about this now. My DS4 is getting over what is likely H1N1, and today my DD7 woke up with the same constellation of symptoms.

Both are home today with low fevers (controlled by Motrin), cough, sore throats, and lethargy. That leaves me, DH and DS14 to go.... I am now seeking clinics or private offices that have H1N1 vaccines for my DS14 and if they'll allow it, my younger two.

Maybe it's because so many kids have it now at the school, or that our vaccination plans have now ground to a halt in Loudoun County (21 out of 51 elem's got their vax before the county ran out of supply, so now the rest of us are on our own to find vax or wait for some tbd date). Either way, I'm now on a hunt to get my 3 kids vax'd asap.

I'm overloaded and burned out on the people who are hysterical about the vaccine "not being tested" and the imaginary risks of one shot that contains a small amount of thimerosal.

I'm just overloaded with flu clinic information -- trying to find one that won't have too long a wait and that WILL vaccinate all my family members -- we all seem to need somehting different too.

Well, we've all had the flu (still sick) so I have a legitimate reason to be ravenous for info. I could not believe it when I turned on CNN two nights ago and they were not discussing H1N1. I was pissed.
