Consider banning the word troll

I’ve seen it done on other forums. People seem to get off on posting troll in every other thread, then go back and forth amongst themselves and it just derails dialogue. I assume that is their goal? Who knows. It makes lots of threads tough to follow.

I do remove those posts when they are reported. I don't know about banning the word outright, but I agree the troll-calling really messes up threads.

I've called troll in threads and been deleted, then the OP actually turns out to be a troll when I posted here. I don't think everyone knows to post about trolls in this forum

You can also just report the post that you think is a troll post.

I've been called a troll when simply disagreeing with someone. It's an easy and lazy way for that person to dismiss you. You know, if they don't want any opposing opinions to be heard. I plan on reporting anyone who calls me a troll from now on.

You can also just report the post that you think is a troll post.

And you can also at the same time ask Jeff if he thinks it’s a troll. I do this all the time.
