Looking for something new. |
i like hidden brain. don't know if it's lesser known though. maybe you should list what you have listened to. |
Hard to know what "lesser-known" would be. I like By the Book, 99% Invisible (about how design affects your life in ways you don't even know), Backstory (giving the little known historical backstories to various current issues, both fluffy (beaches) and not (court nominations); I second Hidden Brain; I also enjoy Still Processing (NYT culture podcast). |
After Effect, about the system of group homes for adults with disabilities |
If you're into the birth and evolution of rap and hip hop, listen to Mogul. |
Armchair Expert-- Dax Shepard interviews people
The Good Place Podcast-- I love the TV show! Matt and Doree's Eggcellent Adventure-- IVF podcast, but still fun to listen to even if you don't have fertility issues TV Campfire-- ATX TV festival podcast Deadly Manners-- like an old fashion radio murder mystry GastroPod-- food podcast The Sporkful-- Food podcast Switched on Pop-- Music analysis |
The Birth Hour is a podcast of women telling their birth stories. If you are still procreating or interested in childbirth for other reasons, it's slightly addicting. |
+1 don't be lazy OP. |
I just got through Dr. Death which was scary in the sense that "it could happen to you." But it was well done.
It was put out by Wondery so I might check out some of their other stuff. https://wondery.com/shows/ |
Not for everyone - and not sure if it is lesser-known - but My Dad Wrote a Porno is hysterical. |
Slow Burn, the first was on Watergate, the second season on the Clinton/Monica scandal. |
The Allusionist. |
Again with this, 90210 - it's an episode by episode discussion of Beverly Hills 90210. It's hilarious. |
This was so good. |
The Dave Chang Show is really good. He’s the owner of Momofoku and talks about food and pop culture. I also like the Rewatchables, which analyzes older movies that show on cable all the time, think Good Will Hunting. |
