I'm pregnant and have a 2 yr old. DS and I have been vaccinated.

I'd love for DH to get the vaccine ASAP- wonder if they'll give them any priority.

They gave my husband priority. I am 34 weeks along and have two other young children.

Where? I haven't found anywhere to get dh vaccinated and am in the same boat as op.

From today's Washington Post:

As of Tuesday, caregivers for children younger than 6 months and adults 25 to 64 with underlying conditions had been added to the groups that can be immunized at school-based clinics in the District.

send your husband to a DC clinic (there are so many) and have him say he has asthma. they will NOT turn him away. everyone at the clinic we went to was so nice. they gave my husband and me the shot w/o any fuss at all.

i think he can just say he will be a caregiver of an infant imminently.

If you are close to your delivery date, they will vaccinate him as a caregiver of an infant. But I don't see too much of a rush if you are early in the pregnancy, other than the general benefit to DH, since you and your child are already vaccinated.

OP- I'm 30 weeks. DH won't lie for the shot- he thinks it's bad karma. Will see if he'd be willing to go to a DC clinic (we're in NOVA).
