Contrave (or Wellbutrin + Naltrexone)

Has anyone tried this to jump-start weight loss or as a longer term aid to keep it off?

I'd love to hear about people's experiences, including dosages, side effects, and results. TIA!

I've been on wellbutrin for over a year now, I gained not lost weight. My dosage started low, went up to 450, then now at 300 daily.

My friend used it and it didn't do a thing for her. She now has the balloon in her stomach and it is working.

On another note, my friend is in that commercial. She says "french fries".

I am currently in Contrave and am slowly losing weight - 12lbs in the last month since I started. It was a rough start because I was so neausous but I started taking round the clock Dramamine and now do not need it.

I tried contrave and I think it made me more emotional which didn't help.

I am taking Contrave. I haven't felt the nausea others have mentioned. I am only on week 2, but I would say it HAS reduced cravings and hunger. Not dramatically, but some. So probably I will eat less and lose weight slowly. Which is fine.

12 lbs in a month is not slow. At all.
