Yes, the clothes are cute and great quality for kids, but has anyone actually tried their clothes for women? How is the fit and quality?
Thanks! |
I ordered a sweater set once with ruffled long sleeves on the cardigan. Cute in the picture, but looked like clown sleeves on me! The ruffles were way too big. I haven't tried anything else. |
I tried one of their skirts once. Possibly the Stockholm skirt. the fabric was nice and I think it was well made. However, it was very generous in the hips (I have a large waist and narrow hips) and the wide waist band made it look like maternity wear. It went back to warehouse.
I also ordered some tights for me. They don't have enough stretch in them to suit me. |
You need to be big and tall. When I traveled to Norway, Sweden, and even Germany some store owners laughed at me for looking for small sizes. The clothes not only run big but they start in something comparable to a US size 8 at the time. |
i am interested in ordering a pair of their leggings, so i would be interested in these responses too.
it's an american company, btw, albeit swedish inspired. |
I have a dress from this season that other women literally gush over - the gray knit with the bell sleeves and little gather under the bust. One stylish woman I know told me when I was wearing it with black tights and boots, I had on the perfect outfit. Now, I have also ordered a sweater and a pair of pants in the past. The pants were enormous and wayyy over cut in the hips as a previous poster noted. I just didnt like the sweater on. The tights are nice. I would bet leggings would be a great choice from this comp as their kints are what they are known for... Oh, I also got a cute winter jacket once and liked it. |
Oh, stfu. |
I like the kids' clothes, but I found the women's clothes were best for the first four or five months of pregnancy. |
This is supposed to be the Fashion forum. So let's just come out and say that no, Hanna Anderson should not be worn by anyone over 12. |
whatever |
I was just considering a HA dress for my pregnancy - the black velour one ![]() Even my son cannot wear any of their clothes apart from the tight pyjamas, they are designed for people three times his girth...! |
You definitely need to wear a size down from what you normally wear. I am a size 10 and a Hanna M is way too big. I need a small. So I would guess if you are much below a size 8 you can't wear them. |
I agree on sizing. I usually wear my t-neck sweaters loose enough that there's NO WAY anyone could say they're clingy". I bought 3 different colors in a size small (based on their measurement chart) and they were huge. Sent them back for XS and they were better but still baggy. Worse, after wearing them a few hours, they stretched out of shape and got really baggy.
Also, if your inseam is longer than say, 31" -- their pants will be capris on you and I don't think they carry talls. FWIW, I agree about HA being for little girls. My 7 year old has now boycotted their stuff too. |
