Patrick Adam’s wife just gave birth

It was a surprise birth announcement. She hid it really well and it’s actually nice to see a celebrity keeping their private lives private.

This is her in May at Meghan’s wedding.

Her name, which you managed to not reference once in a post about her giving birth, is Troian Bellisario and is as much a c list celebrity as Patrick Adams as she was on a similarly successful television show.

I'd literally never heard of her work before this. IDKY but none of the Pretty Little Liars stars have name recognition.

PLL is a successful show on a cable network. So is Suits. You know his name because of Meghan Markle, not because he's on HBO.

I'm the PP giving OP grief about not knowing her name. I don't think everyone should know who Bellisario is because totally, its a show on ABC Family. But Suits is just a show on USA, same family of network. The title of "Patrick Adam's wife just gave birth" is just extremely irksome to me even WITHOUT her also being a star of similar success level.

OP here. I'm sorry I honestly had never heard of her. This is the Entertainment forum. If I'd said 'Lauren Hashian just gave birth' I guarantee you 100% of readers would say WHO? Change that to 'The Rock's girlfriend just gave birth' and it immediately becomes relevant.

I'm all for listing women in their own right when they're celebrities, I just never watched PLL or heard her name anywhere before.

OP here. I'm sorry I honestly had never heard of her. This is the Entertainment forum. If I'd said 'Lauren Hashian just gave birth' I guarantee you 100% of readers would say WHO? Change that to 'The Rock's girlfriend just gave birth' and it immediately becomes relevant.

Except that example is a ridiculous comparison because The Rock is an international celebrity and Lauren Hashian doesn't even appear to be a minor celebrity. Although I still think the right subject line there is "Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian have baby girll" or something.

Troian Bellisario and Patrick Adams I think are at about the same level of fame, minus the Markle bump. You clearly googled looking for pictures of her but didn't bother to see who she was. That type of thing bugs me. And so does your apparent insistence that she's not noteworthy at all. She was a leading actress on a major teen soap for years. The One Tree Hill/Dawson's Creek of the last 10 years.

Look - now I know her and I can see she's a bigger star (social media wise) than he is. That's fantastic. If I'd done some background on her, sure I would have definitely given her first billing.
