Is tomorrow Oct 8 an odd or even class schedule?
Thanks. |

Don’t you get weekly calls and emails from your principal with the schedule?
At SSIMS it’s an odd day. Pyle is probably the same. |
| It’s an even day for Pyle tomorrow. It’s also open house. |
Thx! DD didn’t remember and I didn’t know which class to go to. Now we know. |
| Are you sure it is not an all period day for open house? My kids have that.. |
What do you get out of the open house? |
Nope it’s first two periods open house. |
How was it? |
You had to leave after two periods? |
Sorry no I mean the open house was only for two periods (plus TAG in between, kind of like a small study period). |
OK but likely my last one. Dear child was excited about me coming yesterday but today less so. Probably because not many other kids parents not there. This will be my last open house. Also all of history was spent teaching JA stuff. Teacher easy so excited to teach, makes sense, she’s a history teacher and she was teaching interest, compound interest, and inflation... |
Why was Pyle's open house for only two periods and all the other middle schools were for almost the whole day? |
No idea but really the two periods plus tag was enough. Also Pyle has an odd even day schedule so 2 periods plus TAG is half a day. One period at Pyle is 90 minutes. |
| If your kid like mine had PE second period, you would wish that Pyle had a longer open house. Open house was also part of first period when dc had a planned sub. So basically no open house for me. |
Yes it is nice being able to select a particular class if you are more interested or have a concern...and to avoid PE. |
