Paper instead of computer as accomodation?

DS, 4th grade, has ADHD. So far we just have a 504 with minimal accommodations, and they're working well in day to day classes.
His third grade PARCC scores and another school-specific standardized test are both on computers, though, and he did *horribly* on them. His 3rd grade teacher last year looked at the computerized test and could easily see what he did wrong - skipped questions, dragging and dropping things in a slightly wrong place, etc. He's gotten relatively (for a boy with ADHD) good at going back and double checking his work before turning it in for paper based tests, but doesn't have the opportunity on the PARCC or computerized tests. I also think he just gets distracted and it's easy to click and move on in the computerized test rather than in the paper test where he has to write out something. Anyway... Is it possible to have PARCC and other standardized tests administered on paper? Would that require an IEP rather than a 504? |

PARCC puts out a guide for administering the test to students with disabilities - you can google and download it.
