Next week an old friend will be in town with her seven-year-old twin daughters. I haven't seen her or her daughters for a while and am looking for suggestions on gifts (their birthdays were about a month ago). I have a younger son - no daughters - so am a little out of it in terms of girls' gifts. Their mom says they love Hannah Montana and the Jonas Bros. and that "anything would be fine" - could someone suggest specific items (e.g., a certain Hannah Montana backpack or T-shirt?) that a 7-year-old girl would love? Or anything else? I'm personally not that crazy about Disney stuff, but would like to give them something they would be delighted with. Any suggestions on what's viewed as "cool" by 7-yo girls would be most appreciated! Thanks! |

I have girls and recommend these simple gifts:
diaries with a lock (what 7 yo girl doesn't like a diary? even if she already has one?) Me and My Friends book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1570548137/ref=ox_ya_oh_productn some sort of Obama memorabilia (if they like Obama. My girls love it, especially that paperdolls and magnetic dolls). Search for Obama under Children's books on amazon. some sort of Washington, DC memorabilia. Search for Washington DC under Children's Books on amazon and you'll see lots of kids guidebooks about DC. |
