Our DD passed her driver test this past August in MD. They mail you your license. We never received even though I could see it was sent. We signed up for informed digest from the Postal Service which sends you an e-mail each day with pictures of the mail you will be receiving.
We waited a couple of weeks and nothing ever showed up. Back to the DMV two weeks ago to apply for a new license. They don't give it you there and have to mail it. Had to pay another $20 for a lost license. This week I saw that it was mailed again and should have been delivered Wednesday. It did not arrive and still has not arrived. The DMV says they are not responsible and the Postal Service says they are not responsible. WTF! If we go back to the DMV they will not give us the license in person and claim they can only mail it. Anyone have any suggestions? |

Can you have it mailed to a different address?
I had mail problems a few years back. As a test I actually mailed stuff to MYSELF using my cousin's return address and they came back to her saying "Undeliverable." Bull****. Then suddenly the problem resolved after several weeks. Incredibly frustrating. I never figured out a reason for this nonsense. |
| The USPS is awful. #enoughsaid |

Do you have a locked mailbox OP?
Seems to me that someone, possibly a neighbor stole it. Or got mailed to the wrong address & the recipient is keeping it....possibly to commit fraud. |
Mailbox slot in door. Once delivered it is on the floor in the living room. |

| Exact same thing happened to my boyfriend. Then, his mail was mysteriously delivered after he called the post office. |
This just happened to me too! |
| This is the same problem I am having. My grandson moved did an address change. His name is Patrick and my name is Patricia same last name. Some of my mail goes to him and the rest is being sent back simply because they fail to look at the first names. I have made 5 service complaints on line to USPS no response. I wrote a certified letter to the station manager. I was told to come in. I went in to the post office gave everything they asked for , but I am still not getting my mail. I am at my wits end and still do not have my drivers license. |

You mean it was stolen twice?
Do you still have the emails with the mail scan? I would start making BIG noise with the post office. |
| Assuming you triple checked the address on file with the DMV? |

Sounds like your local post office is a mess.
1. Complain to your local post office's station manager (postmaster). 2. If the station manager blows you off, ask your local elected official get involved. 3. And file a complaint with your local post office consumer affairs office https://postalpro.usps.com/ppro-tools/consumer-affairs |
+1 - call or physically go to your local post office. |
