Beta not rising much 13dpt

Anonymous
On Monday my beta was 191 (11 dpt)
On Wednesday my beta was 220 (13 dpt)
Any success stories with numbers this low? Feeling hopeless.

Did you transfer one or two embryos? I've heard success stories with a low second beta due to losing one of the embryos.

11dp5dt? so that's 16DPO? 191 is ok for 16DPO (my clinic looks for above 75 on 14DPO) (although my 7 month old's beta was 191 at 14DPO, 9dpt, he was then 400 or so 11dpt (more than doubled).

Having had 4 chemical pregnancies in many MANY ivf cycles to ultimately have success, i can say to prepare for the worst with that beta increase. stranger things have happened, but i wouldnt get my hopes up too much.

i am sorry- I had 4 chemicals and they're torture- the repeat betas etc. hoping for a lucky story for you OP!

Yes, 11dp5dt was 191
13dp5dt was 220.

So it only went up 29 points in a 48 period. I’ve heard of not having doubling in 48 hours, but usually it’s like “almost double” or went up by a sizable percentage.

Try to not freak out quite yet! If you had been cycling at SG, your first beta would’ve been at 13dpt, so your beta of 221 would be right on track. GL

The issue is that the numbers didn’t come close to doubling... not the level.

I'm sorry for your losses. Did you ever get an explanation for all the chemicals?

I'm not OP but I think I'm experiencing my first one now. 5 days of decent lines, and now they are lighter / negative. Beta tomorrow. This sucks, esp with a PGS tested embryo.
