We had children in RCC from 2000 - June, 2007 - experience all rooms from Infant A through the Kindergarten program. We loved it. Most of the lead teacher are still there - which is amazing given the 'industry'. When friends not in day care asked us how we were going to potty train, we answered - "Ms. Jojo will tell us how to!" We felt very much a part of the community there - even though our kids are all in different schools now -- we still keep in touch with families. The director left this summer to move back home in the midwest - she had been there for over 10 years. The new director is lovely, and the assistant director has been there for years (her kids have gone through the center as well). I highly recommend the center. There are also family picnics, field trips and my kids favorite - "parents nights out" - drop the kids off at 5:30 on a Saturday and pick them up by 11 pm - they get a playdate with their friends! My oldest went straight into kindergarten in Arlington from RCC and was very well prepared, our youngest did the K program at RCC - she was reading in the fall (at age 4.5) and the activities exceed those in the Arlington public school (longer hours, smaller group). The infant rooms are a nice size with a 1 to 3 ratio. If you have specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
