| How does a school with the wealthiest median family income (via NY Times) have such dismal post-grad results in terms of salary? It's on my son's list & I want to be supportive because I'm a SLAC grad. However, when I looked at the College Scorecard, grads earn very little afterwards. Is this something to do with the culture? |
| Don't know about CC in particular, but those survey results depend highly on what majors the average student take and whether the average student is in grad school when surveyed. |

Perhaps because they don't really need to live on what they earn? Trust funds, subsidized grad school or post undergrad travel.

| Do most just go on to grad school and the minority start in low level jobs? Also, how are English majors suppose to take it in during the 5 years post-grad? Serious question. |

That number is 10 years out for kids who receive financial aid. So presumably it's not relevant for the kids with high family income who are full pay. |
