Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| i tried it tonight- after all the hullabaloo about the new one opening i chevy chase I had high hopes. I was incredibly disappointed- it took 35 minutes for 2 pizzas to be made (one was cheese) and when we got there there was just one person waiting. 2 people who came after us got theirs before we did. Then, to top it off, I thought the pizza was okay, but salty sauce, and nothing I'd go back for. did i just hit it on a bad night? |

No. We had the same experience, and they made 2 out of three pizzas wrong and gave us the wrong salad. When I called to complain (since one of the pizzas was specially ordered for someone with food allergies who now had nothing to eat), they said they would give me a credit. I said great. They said, yeah, um, just mention it to whomever is here the next time you're in and I'm sure they will give you a credit. Yeah...right.
So disappointing. |

I apologize from everyone at HomeMade to both of you and I want you to know that this is absolutely not the type of experience we're known for or want to give our customers. It's really disappointing to hear about your experiences, but I'm glad you posted them so that we can do something about it on our end, and hopefully on yours.
I'm passing the link here onto our District Manager so that she knows about what you both went through and can do what she needs to at the store level to set things straight. I also hope you'll see this note from me and drop me a line at comments@homemadepizza.com with a mailing address so that I can send you a Gift Card to hopefully go a little way toward making up for your first visit. If that's not acceptable, I totally understand and apologize, but I really hope you'll try us again. We expect our stores to treat our customers the way we'd like to be treated. That means doing everything we can to make dinner a really good, really easy experience. Again, I'm very sorry we didn't do it for you the first time out, but I hope we can get you to come back and give us another try. Shane - what are you doing lurking on our boards? That's creepy!
However, we love the homemade pizza company over here in Spring Valley. |
| Sorry to be creepy! I wasn't actually lurking, I just receive Google alerts everytime a new mention of HomeMade pops up somewhere on the web, so I followed the link and, actually, I'm really glad I saw those posts. Oh, and really glad you love HomeMade in Spring Valley -- as always, please make sure and drop us a line with any rants or raves. I'll leave now! |
