Please Help--confused about Virginia clinic locations for toddlers

Anonymous
I am a bit slow in understanding how to find a clinic that will give a shot to my 14 month old. I went to the Virginia.gov website, then searched by city name, and received a listing of locations (many were CVS). However, none of these listings specify when the clinics are open and if they give the vaccine to toddlers.

On the DC page, they have a special category for pregnant women and children and list flu clinic sites and the days they are open. I am confused that Virginia doesn't have a similar resource. I have seen a post about toddlers being vaccinated in Fairfax tomorrow, but nothing else. Am I looking at the right website? Where else should I be looking? Thank you.

Toddlers are being vaccinated in Fairfax tomorrow.

Web site will provide updates of the amount of vaccine remaining. No strollers are allowed in the building, though, which is a pain.

DC also has vaccination sites tomorrow. See http://newsroom.dc.gov/show.aspx/agency/doh/section/2/release/18365.

You are right that besides the Farragut location that is now filled up, there is no where else besides Fairfax and DC that has the vaccine for those under 2. I've spent hours researching and calling places. Things can change though in a nick of time.

The minute clinics will only vaccinate toddlers who are at least 18mo. I just looked on their website & called the #. I work in fairfax co public schools & we got numerous emails that there would be h1n1 shots available to children 6mo-36mo. & pregnant women tomorrow. I forget the exact location though. They are also free of charge.
