I am very happy with the practice that I am going to which delivers at Fair Oaks: Tepeyac Family Center. They take every insurance so far as I know as part of their mission is being accessible. If for whatever reason you don't see yours listed I would call to talk to them. BTW they have a great website with info about medicines you can take, what to expect at appointments, the hospital etc.. So far, I have met two of the doctors. There are about 5 in the practice and you meet them all at different times so that you will know the doctor who is there for delivery. The staff have all been very warm and it may seem silly but I really appreciate how nice the front desk is when they answer the phone or schedule you. The two times I called the nurse line and left a message about non-urgent stuff they called me right back within an hour and although the paperwork says that they only call for abnormal lab results, a nurse called to tell me my progesterone/ hcg looked great because she didn't want me to worry! They have lab drew and ultrasound in the office except for the 20wk U/S is done in an off-site diagnostic center.
It is a pro-life, mostly Catholic practice, and they have natural family planning classes and things of that nature. I gather that many patients are not necessarily religious though.
