Aaa membership

How much do you pay for your membership and where do you think the best deal for it is? Thanks

I pay $120 annualy for two adults. I stumbled upon something from Sprint where I think we might be able to renew our AAA membership next year for free or at a discount.

$120 seems “full price.”

Do you think that you get $120 worth of benefits each year? I find that I can add roadside assistance, towing and such to my regular auto insurance for much less than $120 a year.

It’s the discounts - hotels, museums, entrance fees, etc.

If you are environmental or value multi-modal options (bikes, walking, transit, etc), AAA is very bad. Check out https://www.betterworldclub.com/ as an alternative.

We get the premium (or whatever it’s called) AAA membership because I drive an AWD Sienna with no spare tire (the vehicle just doesn’t have space for one, and run-flat tires are a joke) and we easily drive my vehicle 20,000 miles a year. We stick with AAA because they’re everywhere and I don’t necessarily trust that my insurance or Toyota, etc. will be able to have someone come out to assist me if I’m in some small town on my way to the ski hill or driving to visit my parents two states away.

I ended up just using my credit card's roughly $30/event service which I have yet to use (had BWC brieflly) so it's less expensive. I can't support AAA for their bad policies against anything that is not a car.
