Favorite Peleton instructors?

I just started. Recommendations? I’m in my fifties so I have been enjoying the videos with 70s music, but interested in what others like best!

Denis, and not just because he's hot, but that helps. He's fun to listen to because he tells little stories about his life and doesn't just yell out motivational catchphrases. I also like Jennifer Jacobs for her music choices and class structure. I also like Robin Arzon's old school hip hop classes and Ally Love.

Is Denis the one with the long hair? If so, love him! Crazy motivational and just seems like a nice guy.

Yes, that’s him. I met him in the studio in NY. He is a really nice, humble guy and even hotter in person.

I think that I will do more classes with Denis. I like Ally Love. I often like Cody but sometimes he is a bit much.

I find I like them for different reasons and it depends on what I want out of the class.

I want to break a PR: Robin, Alex
I want to laugh: Denis, Jess, Cody
I want to feel like I am at a dance party: Cody, Emma, Ally
I want to look at good looking men: Denis, Alex, Cody
I want to get technical training: Matt, Christine
I want to feel like I am riding with a friend: Ally, Hannah Marie, Emma

I like Christine. Her music is good and she isn’t a skinny waif which is reassuring to my lumbering overweight self.

Alex, Robyn and Cody (in that order). My all time favorite was Nicole Melina but she’s left the company, however I think her classes are still on demand. She’s amazing.

My favorites in ranked order are Cody, Robin, Alex and Emma. I rarely take any of the other instructors since I love these four so much. I’ve also been taking the boocamps through the app - I stream the class to an HDTV and I run on a really old treadmill. They are amazing. My favorite tread instructors are Andy, Oliver and Olivia.

I love Jennifer Jacobs but probably because our music tastes align.

I’m a woman in my 50s, and I love Christine. As a PP mentioned, she talks more technically about what we are doing and why (she is actually a competitive cyclist). She is also really positive and motivating without being trite. Great music. I look forward to a 45 min or 60 min endurance ride with her every Saturday.

Totally agree about Nicole. I've now run out of her 45 minute classes though.

I mostly like Emma for playlists, Hannah if I want something a little easier, I also like the way she explains what is coming up, how long the hill is going to be, and if I want better numbers/PR - Robin.

Denise. Previously, Robin. I'm really not into Emma, I can never hear her. Jess is cool, but sometimes I think she could be more clear about what we're doing.

Jess (she’s strange but entertaining)

They really are all good though!
