Dessert Bites/Small Desserts

we are having a few friends over for apps/dessert. This is a fundraising meeting for our kids school so nothing formal. Looking for a few bite size or small desserts to serve. We will have cheese plate/wine, and about 4 other appetizers but I wanted to also serve something sweet other than truffles/chocolate candy. Anyone have any favorites or ideas? Also, there will be kids so I am planning to make cookies/hot chocoalate for them.

Mini-cheesecakes made in mini-muffin tin pans might work. How about a fruit tart cut into smaller pieces? You could do some grown-up type cookie bars cut into diamond shapes ... I'm thinking along the lines of a linzer....

Trader joes has some small desserts in there freezer case...mini cheesecakes or cream puffs.
