CVS Minute Clinics with H1N1

There are several in the area with the vaccine. You can sort just by H1N1 availability in NOVA at this link:

I went to the two in Alexandria after calling CVS. Both clinics had signs saying they had no vaccine for anyone under 4 years old. (why 4 instead of 3, I'm not sure).

So be careful to check if you are looking to vaccinate your children.

Is it only for high risk groups?

Did the Alexandria locations have the H1N1 - I didn't see any on the list posted above. I have a 4yo and would like to get him the vax. Thanks!

Yesterday, I went to the one off East Monroe Street, and the one off Belleview in S. Alexandria. Both had H1N1 at that time, but they could not vaccinate <4 year olds. But today they may have run out. I would check the CVS site directly doing your own search. If they are gone, they may have run out of vaccine.

The good thing is that if you have a 4yo, you should have options.

I went to Spout run and only 4+ were getting shots.

Looks like none of them have H1N! vaccine now.
