IUI....haven't ovulated and it's day 16??

WTH! Why haven't I ovulated yet? I am coming off of 4 months of retrievals....

Need more info - you’re doing IUI but we’re previously doing IVF? Are you not doing a trigger shot?

I often ovulated days 17-20.

I've done a ton of retrievals and we can not get anything to blast. So, instead of taking the month off we were going to do an IUI (6 paid for by insurance). I took clomid day 5-9. I went in on day 10 and they measured two 10mm follicles on the right. But said my LH was 4. Went back on day 13, follicles measure 12mm and LH is still no where to be found. Going back today for bloodwork and ultrasound. Before IUI/IVF treatments I always ovulated at day 13/14....always....with OPK and basal temping.

Today is day 17 and OPK did not have a smiley face.

it doesn't sound like they were growing properly. let us know what they see today.

Went in this morning.....1 follicle is at 21 mm. Blood work call in a few hours.

IUI today...23mil sperm, 2+ progression, 76% motility....doing another IUI tomorrow.

Anyone do a double back to back IUI?

I had to take clomid day 3-7 so my follicles would actually grow. Third round of clomid I had on 18mm follicle on cd 13 and LH jumped to 64. They told us to do timed intercourse with no trigger and now 15 weeks pregnant. Good luck! I hope it works this round and if not, I would highly suggest asking your doctor about taking clomid earlier.

PP here. Not sure if you're posting to me but money. No infertility coverage whatsoever and I have PCOS and was 30. I did not want to jump straight to IVF even though SG was recommending it. I said, let's just try the IUI first. I've been pregnant naturally before (even though it took a very long time). She gave us a 4% chance of getting pregnant naturally. I've now been pregnant naturally twice, and then this cycle was clomid.

I should add I did have a miscarriage with the second pregnancy. So, there was concern about egg quality.
