| I totally agree OP! Such a great story. |
| Why an old lady name like hers. Well duh. Bowser looks so happy. Good for her! |
| It's a GREAT name. /s/ Miranda, daughter to Elizabeth |
|
Did she do a surrogate or is this a straight adoption? |
It IS an amazing story. The mayor, her nanny, her driver, and her security detail are proving that any single person can have it all. Really hope the Post is keeping an eye on taxpayers funds. |
|
The baby is adorable and her mother looks over the moon with happiness. It was a huge risk for her politically to do it now but I am so glad for her that she did it.
For the person whinging about taxpayer funds, you can be sure that the new mama is being very careful about it. You sound jealous and this is as you should be since clearly you are not a happy or nice person. In case you haven't figured life out you should know that what goes around comes around. You may be catching a little of your own. Too bad so sad. |
What was the political risk? A single mom in DC isn't an anomaly. And a previous mayor employed prostitutes and smoked crack and still was beloved. Its hard to beat that... Adoption as a single woman is minor in comparison. |
|
This is wonderful.
Of course, I wish that DC voters had a real electoral choice this time. I would love to see Muriel Bowser spend much more time with her baby come January next. |
|
Hmm. I love all babies, but I don't think she should parade her baby is such a blatantly vote-getting way instead of actually solving the city's problems.
And no, it wasn't a huge risk, quite the opposite. |
| Muriel, call me. Seriously. |
We should truly give her a chance to enjoy that cute baby |
+1. Time for a Hispanic or Asian candidate |
| I am pretty sure she adopted her. |
|
Yes, she's adopted. And among my friends, who like myself, have adopted as single women, we find her story inspirational.
And, yes, she is one cute baby. |
