anyone have a baby after vasectomy?

I do have friend who's husband had one before they met. He was about 50 at the time and she was 44. He had it reversed and they have one child.

When I had my 2nd child, the doctor told me that between having a vasectomy and getting my tubes tied, I should get my tubes tied. He said that vasactomys are hard to reverse, but I could still do invitro.

I did but it is because my husband's vasectomy spontaneously failed 3+ years after he had gotten it. We were definitely NOT planning on it. It was a big thread here back in 2013 since I took the test and was like wtf!? That baby is almost 5, worked out really well, actually, lol

This is exactly what happened to a friend of mine. It scared me because my husband also had a vasectomy.

We did and my husband's doctor told him it was impossible and "an issue on the home front." It was a miserable pregnancy and almost ruined my marriage. We got a blood test when ds was 3 days old and I (post c section, still in the hospital) walked that blood test right down to the urolgists office and waiting in the waiting room till he came out. Great times. This was in 2015.

I have two different friends who had their vasectomies reversed and went on to father children. In both cases these guys decided they had enough kids with their first wives, then had affairs, left their wives and had a kid with the affair partners after they married them.
