Elementary School-Aged Kids
| I have an elementary school son who still occasonally wets the bed at night. I have two questions for those that have similar experiences. First, does your child go on sleep overs and how do you handle the possibility that there might be a bedwetting incident. Second, do you have any tips for getting the urine smell out of the bedding. Currently I use a combination of bleach and laundry detergent and then dryer sheets. But, a slight smell still remains. |

I always send my son with a sleeping bag - if he wets, it will be my bedding. So far, it has only happened at hime.
We have a good matres cover at home, and I have never noticed a urine smell to his bedding. I would think you could buy some product for removing animal smells (mostly that means pee, and I can promise you, a cat's pee is WAY worse than your childs...) |
